2012 Metro League season wrap-up

The regular season ended for the Metro League with the Wheaton White Sox winning the East Division and the Chicago Americans taking the West Division. The end of the year tournament proved to be very competitive, with the Dupage Training Academy Wildcats taking first place.

 

The Metro League concluded its 2012 season sending two teams to national competition. 

 

The Aces, augmented with select players from the Patriots, Indians, and White Sox competed in the All-American Amateur Baseball Association (AAABA) championships in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

 

The Cardinals advanced to National Amateur Baseball Federation (NABF) College Division World Series, placing third after being defeated by the Ohio Monarchs in the semi final game.
